Barry established his private law practice in November 1982. His professional background spans legal practice, educational administration, communications instruction, and community service.

That breadth of experience is especially relevant to the relationships between individuals, families, workplaces, and schools.

Legal and public service background

Barry’s published résumé lists admission to the Ohio Bar, the U.S. District Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court Bar.

His public service includes serving as president of the Euclid Board of Education and the Euclid Civil Service Commission.

Experience in education

Barry’s educational work includes school business management, teaching speech and English, coaching debate, and college-level communications instruction.

He served as business manager for West Geauga Local Schools and Mayfield City Schools. His teaching background includes Cuyahoga Community College and other Northeast Ohio institutions.
